The name Samchi Karate Academy is a fusion of meaning and purpose. It combines the first three letters of the founder’s name (Sam) with “Chi”, a Chinese word representing vital energy the divine force believed to flow throughout the body.

Chi is recognized in martial arts and ancient wisdom as the life energy of God Almighty that empowers action, strength, and purpose.

Samchi Karate Academy is proudly affiliated with Shito-Ryu Karate, and is dedicated to teaching both authentic traditional Karate and modern sports Karate in Nigeria.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Sensei Samuel Adejebe is a highly respected martial artist and professional coach with qualifications in both traditional and sport Karate. He is:

A 4th Dan Black Belt holder from the prestigious Japan Karate-do Inoue-ha Shito-Ryu Keishin-kai

A Certified Coach from the National Institute for Sports Nigeria

An Athletes 365 Certified Coach by the International Olympic Committee (IOC)

As a former Karate champion, Sensei Samuel has earned numerous medals and accolades during his competitive years. Beyond his achievements, he is a motivational teacher, leader, epigrammatist, and a true transformer of lives.

He passionately trains and nurtures both children and adults, helping them to develop not just physical strength but also mental discipline, character, and purpose through his exceptional Karate methodology.
